Tom, an A&E doctor, and Daisy an Paediatric Doctor and GP trainee both trained in the UK before completing their early years as junior doctors at The Royal Bournemouth Hospital. Wanting to see how healthcare was delivered in a different part of the world, they moved to Hervey Bay, Queensland in 2016. Two children and 5 years later they returned to the UK. On their return from Australia in 2021, Dr Tom and Daisy Constantine, set up Coastal Medical Imaging. Their vision to bring an accessible and high quality Ultrasound service to North Wales.
After seeing how quickly patients could access Ultrasound, CT and MRI from Queensland to West Australia, Tom and Daisy have taken all they have learnt from their five years in the Southern Hemisphere and applied it to the clinic in Colwyn Bay.
Their aim is to build more local healthcare capacity through Coastal Medical Imaging to offer patients access to high quality healthcare with low waiting times. In time, they believe that Coastal Medical Imaging will also be able to provide added capacity to the local public system to help combat the backlog and reduce waiting times for all.

Our Clinic is easily accessible just off the A55 in the town of Colwyn Bay. Our state of the art facility, based within the Plas Eirias Business Centre, provides a calm and relaxing environment for patients whilst they use our services.
We offer independent ultrasound services at our state or the art facility in Colwyn Bay. Our clinic uses the latest equipment and employs experienced sonographers to ensure our patients are relaxed and reassured that they are receiving the best care available. Appointments are available throughout the week and even available same day. Once your clinician has sent a referral, book online, by email or phone.
